      • Musashi Miyamoto’s (1554-1645) “Gorin no Sho”, The Book of Five Rings, is a text on swordsmanship and martial arts. It is widely known among martial artists. However, it is little known that he painted Sumi-e paintings in a unique style.
In our upcoming workshop, we will copy Musashi’s paintings such as “Shrike perched in a Dead tree”, and “Boddhidharma”, and learn about the energy he poured into his paintings.
